Open the app

Open the app in Safari, then add it to your home screen.
- Open the app using the button above in Safari.
- Tap Share in Safari. You may need to open the browser menu first.
- Choose Add to Home Screen. If it is missing, scroll through the available actions.
- Turn on Open as Web App if shown, then tap Add. Open eSIMox using its new icon.
No Apple ID, developer mode, certificate or configuration profile is required.

Add the web app directly from Chrome.
- Open the app using the button above in Chrome.
- Open Chrome’s menu (⋮) and choose Install app or Add to Home screen.
- Follow the confirmation on your screen, then open eSIMox from its icon.
Menu names and available installation options depend on your browser and Android version.

This is a native Android APK, separate from the web app. Choose it only if you want the Android version.
Download Android APK- Download the APK and open the downloaded file.
- If Android asks, allow installation from this browser or source in system settings.
- Tap Install and open eSIMox. Afterwards, you can turn off this source’s installation permission.
Keep Google Play Protect enabled. A warning or installation permission request is controlled by Android; review it before continuing.
About installation
Is this the same as installing an eSIM?
No. This adds the eSIMox comparison app to your phone. Buying a plan and installing or activating an eSIM are separate steps with the provider.
Does the app work offline?
First open the app with an internet connection and let it finish loading. Previously loaded app content and locally saved trips may then be available offline. Provider purchases and external links need internet.
Where are my saved trips stored?
In this browser on this device. The browser or operating system can clear this storage. The web app and native app do not share saved trips; do not rely on automatic account or device sync.
How does the app update?
The web app can receive updates when you open it online. An Android APK update must be downloaded and installed separately. Nothing bypasses your phone’s installation permissions.
